I'm a Technology Teacher for a K-6 District. In addition to our District's focus on technology, we also run a Dual Immersion program (which my son will be starting this coming school year), so GoGoLingo hits all the right chords with me.

Has there been any talk about adding some MMO elements a la Club Penguin? You could control communication much in the way Togetherville does with branching, pre-scripted comments, and it would be a great way for kids to test out their newly found language skills.

It would be great, also, for parents to get archives of these conversations, which could be used as a means to assess whether or not they know how to apply the vocabulary they've learned.

bell pepper graphic displays wrong

On working through the vegetable category I found that the bell pepper, or el pimenton displays wrong in the games and on the go-go card.

How to experience/sample upper levels before purchasing?

This program is cute and fun. My children's skills are well beyond what we're seeing in the free version of the game. Does the level increase? Please let me know how to examine that so that I can decide whether to upgrade the account.

I love the fact that you can enter up to 5 children for one subscription. I have 3 kids in the age range and it's so nice to view each individually. I love this program and they do too!

Le Rana or La Rana?

I'm just starting out learning spanish but, I was under the impresion the frog was la rana but on the bubbleator game it is le rana. I even heard them sing la rana on the farm song. Please let me know which it is. Thanks

We've just tried gogolingo and it's wonderful!
This game is so interesting that we (adults) couldn't stop playing. It's the funniest and smartest material to teach languages that we ever saw. It’s truly learning and having fun at the same time.
We wish that you guys create a version to teach English to kids who speak Portuguese. We're pretty sure that the kids in Brazil will enjoy it too.

EARNED BOOKS

It does not make sense to me for the books to be in english. (for example "count the lingos" should be in spanish as numbers were one of the first things to be completed).

Why not have a book relevant to the subject completed available to purchase at the lingoland store or maybe bookstore. We have a ton of stars and are not sure how to spend them. I think it would add a feeling of accomplishment and a sense of progress if there was something at the end of a level (like a book). It would be great if "the books" were also able to be printed.

Just a thought - otherwise we are really enjoying learning spanish with our little lingos.

Yay for GogoLingo!

Our three children, ages 8,6 and 4, love playing on GoGoLingo so much, we are able to use it to "encourage" good behavior. Bottom line, they don't play unless they behave. It works! They love to see how many stars they can get and they also like to practice what they've learned at dinner time. I even find myself singing the songs...very catchy. I love they that are loving to learn. With Daddy speaking Spanish, but me at home with them (a mostly non-Spanish speaker), this is a great way to keep them busy (a.k.a. out of each other's hair) and learn something very valuable and important to our family. Thank you for providing this adorable, fun, interactive experience. Yay for GoGoLingo!
